35th Annual Pork Chop Dinner is set for October 24th.
Volunteers will be needed to prep for the dinner and help serve both the drive-thru and dine-in meals. This fund-raiser requires a lot of hard work from members in order to serve its many patrons.

This year you may volunteer with our online sign-up SIGN UP GENIUS PORK DINNER SIGNUP or by signing the volunteer sheets in the Garden Room.    You may also call or email your ways of helping to the church at 648-4607 or if.fumc@gmail.com.

There will be a need for pies to be donated for the meal. Note we are simplifying our dinner by offering only three pie choices—pumpkin, apple, or cherry.  Please consider volunteering your baking skills.
Another need is for salads and again there will be three choices that will be offered- rotinini pasta, orange fluff and coleslaw.  Recipes to the salad options can be obtained by clicking this link RECIPE LINK

As per the recommendations of the Iowa Annual Conference and the CDC, we request the wearing of masks for worship at Iowa Falls 1st UMC. Please note the language of request and not require at this time. However, if the current trends in Iowa and Hardin County continue, that language may change, and we may need to alter our current plans for Rally Sunday September 12. Church Council will determine if and when any extra precautions will be taken. We all wish that COVID-19 would become history, yet in the present, we will do what we can to keep one another safe and put this pandemic in the past. Be well. Be safe. Be vaccinated.
